Soldado has officially signed a four-year deal at Getafe from Real Madrid. The Azulones have paid an initial fee of €4m for the Spanish international striker.
This is without question the most ambitious signing of the summer, outranking even the arrivals of Esteban Granero and Ibrahim Kas.
Needless to say Soldado inherits the #9 shirt from Braulio, meaning that he keeps the same number he wore at Madrid last season.
